Hospitality Team

The Wellspring Hospitality team aims to cultivate a culture where everyone who walks through its doors feels seen, loved, and cared for. We welcome and embrace newcomers and make regulars on the fringes feel included through our initiatives. Our vision, inspired by C.S. Lewis's concept of the four loves, encompasses Friendship, Pastoral, and Missionary care.

Friendship care involves identifying homes of hospitality and inviting everyone into smaller circles, such as home groups, youth meets or sports groups, where people can connect over shared interests and meals.

Pastoral care extends beyond group settings to include one-on-one relationships with a designated home group carer. These carers, trained and supervised, serve as mentors and counselors, providing personalized support and guidance.

Missionary care focuses on nurturing people's callings, providing platforms for growth and development. By encouraging them to pursue their passions and talents, we create opportunities to grow the community.

Progress is tracked through a comprehensive database, to ensure that care is consistent and effective. Additionally, we are working out a crisis plan for emergencies and a mental health and counselling budget to address every need.

Through these efforts, we create a sense of belonging and walk with each other in our spiritual and emotional journey, fostering a vibrant and caring community grounded in love.
